An entire chicken is around 1500-1800 calories.. so if you are only eating 1 chicken a day, you are definitely going to lose weight if you are eating at a "calorie deficit"

That weight loss has a lot to do with the lack of carbs and the calorie deficit (still doing lots of exercise after eating the chicken). Not much to do with the costco chicken specifically itself (in case anyone takes it too seriously lol). This can be done with any chicken or any protein. It takes the average person about three or so days to get into ketosis once you lower your carb intake or completely take them out, as it was done in this video. After a week for sure you’d have started burning fat for fuel once your glucose reserves are all used up. Also water weight loss. Also the high protein would help significantly with energy and feeling full. I should specify this is more known as the carnivore diet than it is keto, but regardless one could reach ketosis with this kind of meal plan. Not for the faint of heart though, as just like in the video, eating the same thing for a week gets hard to stomach for some. Not to mention, the first days getting into ketosis suck, you feel like crap. Also, a lot of essential nutrients and minerals are missing, which could make most become malnourished. Definitely not for everybody or not always sustainable long term, but different things work for different people.

I eat hard boiled eggs
For breakfast on 1 sour dough toast. Lunch I eat a salad a day with either chicken, salmon, tuna, lean hamburger meat. Dinner I eat protein and veggies brown rice or roasted potatoes. Low carb but some carbs. All meals measured portions.

You can lose weight with only eating one Thing. I don't know the Englisch Word for that but in german it is called: einseitige Ernährung.
I lost 15lbs with just eating chocolate... after a few days your body checks that something is off and it will flush all out what he dosen't needs and take your reserves... the body can Do crazy things. The most i lost with "trennkost" what means: proteins not together with carbs... you can eat both but not together... 25lbs in 6 weeks...

It's literally a carnivore diet. Zero carb, zero sugar. Losing weight is inevitable and you'll continue to lose no matter what meat you choose if you only eat meat 💪🏾

Spinach, chicken (thuroughly cooked), mozzarella cheese, Kerry gold butter (healthier butter I know of- if you have healthier- go nuts) carrots and Cauliflower dish mixes.

A loss leader is a marketing term used that they put things up at a loss for customers to be led in and other items to be bought which to me is ingenious and the fact they might even own the farm or got a real good deal on the chicken since they're buying and selling so much
Just like with their hot dogs

If you're hungry, drink a full glass of water, and wait 30 minutes. Hunger pangs can be mistaken for dehydrated

You eat less, you obviously will lose weight. That’s how calorie deficit works bro.

In the first 3-4 months of my weight loss "journey" from borderline obese, I primarily ate costco chicken and brocolli, going keto for a few months with around a 400-500 calorie deficit. I weighed and tracked everything i ate.

I started working out about a month in, going on 0.5 mile walks then building up the distance. I ended up losing around 34 lbs and bringing myself down to a "healthy weight" and body fat percentage in the high teens.

Ultimately, it comes down to calories in vs calories out (via exercise/activity and just existing). It's really simple, but is it easy? Depends on how much you want it and how much discipline you can muster. You have to want it, or kick yourself in the ass enough to do it (support systems also help).

Weight loss isn't sustainable if it is just a trend you are doing. Do whatever is best for you and works best for your lifestyle.. A lot of people have success with just minimizing portions or using the 80% whole food, 20% soul food rule. Either way, I wish you luck and health on your journey.❤

Chkn ceaser wraps, ground chicken burgers grind in food. Processor with a smidge of chicken broth& seasonings. Make ckn dumpling soup with Bisquick mix as dumplings. BBQ or chicken gravy Sammies. Add to ramen noodles with frozen veggies (cook them of course) soup sprinkle lemon pepper seasoning eat with a salad, or veggie of your choice and homemade Angel hair pasta with garlic butter herb noodles BBQ chicken pizza boats or in Texas toast use BBQ as base, add ckn onions, cheese veggies of choice on it. Ckn Alfredo noodles or make as a pizza add crumbled cooked bacon. Hope these ideas help you not getting bored eating chicken young Man.

Chicken salad, chicken w salad, chicken soup, chicken porridge, chicken w lots of cabbage n lime, salt n pepper, n chilies. Chicken sandwich sandwich. 😂

This definitely put your body into ketosis. The sad part is it’s the hardest diet to keep up with once you introduce carbs back into your life.
