For everyone asking, these are "pétanque" balls. The sport is similar to green bowling, or horseshoes, where you just toss the ball towards a target and the closer shots get you more points.

Imagine watching machines do 99% of the work but still having to pick up two halves and drop them down a shoot... keep up the good work, diligent person!

I was waiting for the narrator to say something out of pocket until I realized this isn’t huggbees voice

Watching the halves get shaved down and the weld disappear was _highly_ satisfying.

If anyone’s wondering, the robot arm has to be in a cage so it doesn’t hurt someone if they get stuck in it/in the way. “This machine does not know the difference between metal and flesh, nor does it care”

I needed to hear this mans voice once again after so many years.
Introduced me to so many odd contraptions being build by robots.

What "international sport" requires a hollow steel ball, exactly?

First, you take the dinglepop, and you smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then repurposed for later batches.

Then you take the dinglebop and push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all of the fleeb juice.

Then a Shlami shows up and he rubs it, and spits on it.

Then you cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way.

The blaffs rub against the chumbles, and the plubus and grumbo are shaved away.

That leaves you with a regular old plumbus

Honestly, the guy who runs this place must have balls of steel.

As a machinist, I died when he called the machine’s tool a knife.

I've gotten so used to the Huggbees memes that I completely forgot what Brooks Moore sounded like

This is “plumbus” level exciting for no reason at all

I’ll be honest when I saw the thumbnail and the title, I first thought that this was going to be a HuggBees how it’s made video lol

His voice is a relaxing time machine to me. I remember “How It’s Made”. Time sure is made to fly.

Watching a lathe work is always satisfying. It's just like pressure washing the driveway. Instant gratification.
