At 2:49, you can see what a great actor Tom Cruise is. When Ice starts talking, we can see Maverick’s fist shaking with emotion for obvious reasons. So much so that he has to grip the locker to get control. It’s the little things like this that Cruise does very well.

I’ve watched this movie so many times since I was at least 3-4 years old and I just realized that anytime I say “goddamn good and ready” it’s in the same cadence and rhythm as Maverick when he’s about to choke out Sundown

I didn't know until I watched it several other times, I noticed Mav's hand shaking and omg it breaks my heart 😭😭❤ I JUST WANNA HUG HIM TIGHTLY 🤗😭 Like put yourselves in Pete's shoes, how would you feel if you lost your RIO and your best friend? BUT Mav's awesome and kept going and I love that about him ❤❤and I love this movie so much. It'll always hold a special place in my heart. No matter how many times I watch it (I lost count of how many times I've watched Top Gun) But, I ALWAYS enjoy it like it's my first time watching it and I love movies that do that for me!! 🥰❤🙌🏻 Tom Cruise is my favorite #1 actor of all time, hands down!! Maverick knew the engagement was a ruse. Jester didn't even try to get away. Maverick knew this was not what Jester could do. Jester was basically giving a point away. Maverick knew the engagement was bs, so he disengaged because it didn't look good because it was too easy. In combat, an enemy would never continue to fly straight like Jester did.

Chris Beck is so dynamic. We are lucky that he plays with the good guys (US Military R&D) I think it would be fascinating to know how he creates these ideas and then makes them a reality.
Sometimes people are great at one thing. Beck is able to do many things across the board (logic and creative) and maintain a great conversation. I can't conceive or begin to appreciate that level of intelligence. Thank you to all service men of the USA 🇺🇸
