Huh? Live within your means, downsize, pool your money as a family if necessary. 'Children' should already know how to budget by the time they reach adulthood. 🌹

If you would put your kid on the streets then that is setting them up for failure

Would you link the "new study"? Sounds like bad research.

I think much of this is a middle class issue, where some families strained to hold up an image they have more money than they really do and to the extent they are actucally poor without fitting the stereo type image of a trailer park. Their kids are just feeding off their narrative.

The baby boomers have no one else to blame but themselves. A generation should be held liable for the mess the leave the future generations. If this were the case I'd say the baby boomers aren't paying anywhere near enough. I get it some of you are too mentally stunted to understand how bad the economy is. How more work is expected for less pay than previous generations. I just tune you out. I understand economics.

That's an easy fix, STOP supporting them, why is this even a newsworthy story

I'm confused shouldn't the adults just get better jobs?

In the last year I've had to send my kid (he's 35 yrs old) at least 750 dollars to help him pay his bills. He never pays me back.
After I moved out of my parents house I asked my parents for 20 dollars ONCE! I paid them back 2 days later. My parents were the children of the greatest generation. They were tough.

Its not that uncommon in other country's for thier to be a multigenerational home where parents and children depend on each other to live well its a western idea that people get cut off by thier family's and in the long run supporting children can be benafical to parents

After their parents die, the dependent adult kids will fight over the home, pots, pans, dish soap...Eventually the run down home will be foreclosed. 😞

How do I find a silly man that loves my child 🧌 marry them and free me from their grasp of death ☠️. I want to travel, but I don’t want to leave them in my house alone, seriously 😐 I am afraid that they will sell it while I am gone. Children are wild and crazy 🤪.

I don't want a job or go to college or ever consider to move out of my parents house, I am currently 49 years old and have lived in my parents house since, the day I was born and I am proud of my parents for sacrificing their lives and retirement all on me....if you don't like that, too bad.... HAHAHA
