I love this channel because I believe if I had this 20 years ago my life and my child life may have had a different outcome. My first husband was absolutely a narcissist! But I just thought he loved me so much that he couldn't control himself. When we would go out in public he was the perfect husband. Talk about how wonderful I was how perfect I was he acted like I was his world. I loved that! I just ate it up! But at home, he loved to make me feel sub par. When I was diagnosed with a disabling disease he really let me have it! No more about how perfect I was in public and how useless I was in private, but the narrative turned to how wonderful he was for staying with his once perfect but now sick wife. He tried to turn my son against me, but he was still little, I had a very close bond with my baby and my son didn't really like his dad. At 9 years old my now ex husband lost his temper, started punching our son, that's when I knew I had to get us out now! We escaped by getting a restraining order against him on behalf of my son! Not me, just my son! I care for my son, so that included me by default but this was an important key! Child services came took my son's statement, took photos of injuries altho there wasn't much evidence left. In court I told the whole story, the judge asked several questions that I look back at and realizing she was pushing his buttons. We were blessed that day because the family court Judge was out sick, and we had a criminal court judge that day. She saw straight thru him! Gave my son a permanent restraining order until he turned 18! He turns 19 this month. I am remarried now to the most wonderful human on the planet, who wakes me up from my nightmares about my ex several times a month. If I dream, my ex is there. 17 years I stayed with that man. I'm lucky we got out!

Holy Moly!! My recent ex did all of these things! I didn’t realize how bad of a narcissist he was until after I broke up with him and he tried to get me back. I was completely shocked when he told me all the text book things that narcissists says and kept exposing himself over and over in only 90 minutes! He had never mentioned a WORD about his supposed depression and anxiety the entire time we dated. PHEW! I dodged a bullet!

I have a narcissistic wife and some narcissistic “friends” around me. I found this out for sure since 2 month. It is exactly as you said. It will be quite a challenging ride along the way. But what makes me really feel bad, is that I was always so stupid to fall in for it, although the signs where clear from scratch. But my ego prevented a clear view. I have a twin sister. In the past fives years when i moved overseas to support her, i was gaslighted, i was treated like a slave or skivvy. It really shocked me. But listening to your videos i realise she has been manipulating and controlling me my whole life. I came home and now i am learning to walk away. Wow! So accurate. Started divorce process with covert narcissist wife and she became perfect wife so i canceled divorce. Now, after getting me to buy an over $1 million house reverting back. I met with lawyer again, she found out, now again doing all the things she should have been doing all along. Messes with my head and my kids. Gotta stay strong but so hard. She makes us feel bad for her despite horrible treatment.

As far as their need for revenge...after the 'discard' I spoke with the narcissist and he straight up told me that he wanted to see what it was like to hurt someone in the same manor he had been hurt by his girlfriend before me....

The more I learn about narcissism, the more or reminds me of psychopathy. The lack of and empathy and desire to control, hurt, abuse and ultimately, destroy their prey is hard is so obvious… It explains why my ex tried to harm me by cutting my bike’s brakes… while I was PREGNANT with my new husband’s baby…Truly twisted and sadistic. But I noticed…🤷‍♀️
