Hi Rebecca. Going through this horribly right now. My best friend, who I viewed as a brother for life, turned out to be a narcissist. He was there for me when my dad died, and the backstabbing and poor treatment and lies got so bad I had to transfer colleges. And he doesn’t even care after all I’ve done for him. Unbelievable.

Thank you Rebecca. Although it is not for me to break away from my narcissistic abuse and it is not my will. I have learned to navigate and to speak the language of my partner. To have the tools and the understanding that it has required to have my best chances at keeping my family intact. I have been fortunate to change the conversation and to have compromise and accountability from someone who was once toxic and unaware.

Totally Rebecca my soon to be ex has been doing all of these but she has left and me and the kids have not been happier looking back the emotional abuse she has done to us will take time to heal from but I already see it in my kids but thank you for your videos they have helped so much

I just wanted to thank you for this list because drumroll .... the one narcissist left in my life (sort had to drop contact entirely over a year ago. It took a worldwide pandemic to open MY
one left is my sister. And I know SHE would be the first one to call ME a narcissist!! She has all the self-help books to PROVE it!
You wanna talk about Gaslighting .... with ammo? WOW. She is some next level .... I swear! My Dad was a psychiatrist....so she REALLY had to bone up! I wish....WISH I were kidding!! Very much!! But finally....finally I stumbled upon your videos actually because I looked up the word "gaslighting" to see if I truly, truly knew what it meant. I was in the play, so I had some idea of what it meant (turn off the light after someone turned it on....then say "but it was on the whole time" while the someone goes nutz). Your vids popped up and .... well, they just opened my eyes. I cannot begin to tell you how much they have helped me AND my husband (his mom was a narcissist as well). We have BOTH found our voice and our truth! Our voice? We keep to ourselves or each we had to totally drop contact with ALL of them. Yes....ALL. We have our own business, thankfully, and we can "fire" our narcissists if necessary (we are petsitters so, fortunately, we don't have to deal with them much anyway. Animals don't tend to dominate in our world... lol)
Thank you especially for this list, though because I used it to test mySELF to make sure I was not the narcissist 👀. Those who have had the misfortune to not only deal with but to be directly related to the level of narcissist my SISTER is? Will totally understand.
