EASIEST Way to Change Your Bible Ribbon Bookmarks (WITHOUT tools)

Everyone loves good Bible ribbon bookmarks. But sometimes you need to change your Bible bookmark or just add more ribbons. A lot of Bible bookmark DIY videos show using tools and I'm just not into that. So I found the EASIEST way possible to change my Bible ribbons, which even though it's easier there's still a little hack necessary for thinline Bibles. I'll show you that hack and more in this video.

SIDE NOTE: I just want to be clear that I'm NOT saying that the methods other videos have shown WILL damage the binding of your Bible...I'm just sharing that I wasn't comfortable doing that type of DIY on my Bibles. Mainly because my DIY's never turn out the way I envisioned them so I'm not that much into them 😂 That's why I went searching for another way. So I'm just presenting another way to add or change ribbons for those who want options.

When I was a kid in Sunday School 40 years ago we used the method described here of gluing ribbons to light cardstock and inserting them between the binding and the cover. It's super easy to do and doesn't hurt the Bible at all.

Thank you for this. I have a bible that doesn't have ribbons. It's about two inches thick, so I may need the 14 inch ribbons.

Changing ribbons does not damage any part of your bible. I have changed the ribbons on more than a hundred bibles and have never damaged a bible. Putting new ribbons in looks much more professional than ones on a tab.
