My dad made me push wheelbarrows of concrete since 12years old, I am self employed, own my own home and have my own work. Thanks father.

Yes, you. You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am, reading all these motivational comments. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, get hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well!

That is all true. But at the end, it is our own job to overcome all this. Nobody elses.

I am from Argentina where people on a line don't text: we still chat with each other. Cellphones among friends is considered rude.

Some things this video doesn’t touch on that is also extremely consequential to our generation and gen z following us- lack of opportunity. I graduated college immediately after the financial crash. No one was hiring. Gen Z gets to deal with the Covid crash. To the extent that there are jobs and people don’t feel fulfilled, it’s bc people are working to pay bills, not doing what they enjoy. I don’t use my degree at all.. I make triple the amount of money as a bartender that I did as an environmental consultant.. college is exponentially more expensive than it was for my parents and the opportunities a degree affords have been greatly reduced. The cost of buying a house has also gone through the roof. And to top it all off, most of us are riddled with student loan debt to obtain a useless degree in a job market that refuses to pay wages that keep up with productivity or the cost of living.

Cell phones are a problem. Participation trophies are a problem. But it’s hardly the biggest thing plaguing our generation.

I use my fb as my journal; everything I learn from things like this; I qoute them but nobody likes them; it was ok for sometime fb will remind me that I posted it last year; I can’t thank myself enough for posting it; to make myself remember the life lessons I have learned from the best;

Being a parent is hard when it comes to defining what is important for our kids. Finding the balance to hold them close to teach them important values but to also allow them to learn some lessons on their own. As much as we want to mold them a certain way, we need to allow them to grow in their own way while ensuring they instill values that will serve them well in the future. Much love to all the parents out there doing their best

Thankful to my parents for having a hands-off approach but still there to teach me the important stuff. I'm still struggling with trusting them with my problems but I at least know that if I ever wanted help, they're there to hear me out.

The best thing to do is exercise your patience and determination like a muscle. Having been conditioned to want everything right now makes it hard but if you start and break long projects into parts it can work. The hardest thing to do is take the first step but it must be done if you want the end goal.

This video made me miss so bad my childhood where social media was a dream not a reality. 80 kid here, 90 teen.
That time with out internet was so special and more deep in connection. Of course the internet brought a lot of opportunities but it destroyed the way kids communicate and interact. Most of them don’t know what is to feel boring and be ok with it.

As a young teenager myself, I’ve noticed many of the same problems among my peers. I look around school and everyone is looking down at their phone. I myself am a bit guilty at times too. This video sums up our problems well, and I agree with nearly everything said.

We can all use this daily. Exercise helps so much too. My mind completely shifts after a good workout.
