3D Model Titanic for sale:

Yet another super simulation in 3D of what it would be like to rescue the Titanic based on the same theory that rescued the Tricolor ship with more than 4,000 vehicles on board.
A superstructure that will lift the Titanic from the ocean floor.

The ship, even as of 1985, was way to brittle to pick up. This was shown by one if the first submersibles landing in the roof. It collapsed under that pressure.
Now imagine tension, distributive and downward water pressure forces as you lift it. It would essentially be a wet newspaper.

It's a romanticised thought, however it was never going to happen. Especially as you'd be lifting a grave site.

Imagine if Titanic actually did make it to New York all these years later. I know it's most likely impossible, but it's still crazy to imagine, because it's like we all grew up learning about Titanic as a massive part of history, and now we would actually get to see it complete it's journey.

Rescue? A little late, ain't it?

If something like this actually happened it would be the most globally watched event in all of human history

Very interesting simulation. As amazing as it is, it's actually impossible to lift the Titanic. Any attempt to raise the ship will result in it completely dissolving. The condition of the overall wreck is extremely fragile like a tower of cards.

I still think that the bow in itself is STILL pretty incredible considering 111 years has passed & still recognisable as a ship. I'm divided about how I feel about raising it & we all have our opinions. Will still be interesting to see it in the open air in the 21st century but it's true that it is a graveyard & should probably be left alone. Let's face it that Titanic will never be forgotten thanks to researchers, movie makers & millions of enthusiasts who will forever revere this ship. Unfortunate that the arrogance of that time didn't heed the warnings & put Titanic & her passengers in danger. The ship didn't kill people, the decision making that night did & history is what it is. RIP to everyone.

I wish we could raise Titanic and put it in a public graveyard where it can be observed paid respect to like all graveyards. But I dont think it possible because attaching cable to side of a 100 year old ship wont work, cable has to go under the ship every 2' requiring 1000 miles of cable and a robot to push cable under ship, but then it could still fall

5:08 They didn't save 1, 500 people, 1, 500 people died. There were just over 700 survivors.

Hercules sank in 2019, the Titanic sank in 1912, 111 years ago. This theory could NOT work due to how bad it's degraded. It 1000% would break apart during it's ascent. I will say the the imagery of it being raised was wonderful and you guys did a great job at creating it, much appreciated.

I think it could be done but such a salvage operation would be incredibly expensive. The best way to lift her would be to dig into the sea bed around the wreck and basically scoop her out. This technique has been used by the Japanese in recent years to retrieve wrecked ships from WW2, so it can be done. Nothing is impossible!

I think the biggest concern when it comes to exactly how to raise the ship is the condition on the ship. My theory is that it would just break apart going about it this way. Using the same above ground equipment but, instead of using chains, maybe a strong net that would go under the ship.

looks like they can actually pull it off if the companies saw this video. i would litterally cry hard that it managed to finish its trip. not alot of ships can make their trips like that. epic

It's a fun hypothetical to watch in a 3D render, but even if it was in fact possible to raise the Titanic, I don't think it should be done. The bottom line is that the ship is a grave site for over 1500 people. They deserve to rest where they are, for all eternity.

If anyone tried this it would collapse.

If something like this were possible it would be a great testament to how well-built Titanic is.

I believe that it's possible to take it out. It would be great to have it sail to New York and placed in a museum there. I would totally be there to see it arrive. RIP to all those who lost their lives.

I've love to see the titanic raise to surface. That would be a headline all around the world.

It was hell just getting "the big piece" up back back in the late nineties (they even failed on the first try) so it's clearly unrealistic to think that she could be pulled up from her resting place at the bottom of the north Atlantic, but it's a neat thought to entertain nonetheless. The Titanic is so deteriorated that she wouldn't be able to withstand it in the first place, plus she's a literal gravesite, so it's definitely a good thing nobody would ever attempt such an insane task.

I would be the first one to contribute from my pocket..& for that matters i'm sure many people around the world will come forward to give their contributions in this project of lifting out our ship of dreams.. hoping Titanic once again can see the sunlight n complete it's journey to NY.
