thanks for the tutorial! this is helpful & well edited! At the age of 30, I just recently learned to drive, as a woman, I am often told "to leave all auto problems to a shop", but through youtube I've learned and actually changed my battery, put on a spare, etc. your tutorials help a lot! @squidboy0769 Depends upon the age of the starter and what problem is has. With many manufacturers giving lifetime warranties, it's best to just buy one and never worry again about fixing it. Scotty

check the brakes, especially the brake backing dust shield, they often bend and do that. Something is hitting something to make that noise, look for shiny parts where the rubbing occurs.

depends on the speed of the cranking. if it's slow, then the starter is bad. But if it's normal speed, it's not that

follow the positive battery cable from the battery terminal to the engine. It ends on the starter where it bolts to the transmission
