It was recently reported that Microsoft will be firing its major DEI team. However, their connection to the initiative "BRIDGE" was also exposed.

Remember DEI didn't go away, it was renamed to D&I or I&D, and embedded into core of companies. It's not win but now we know they are afraid of people.

The other thing I loved about DEI was going through a three hour job interview to be told "Sorry, we need a diversity hire."

Remember, it is far from over. Yes it’s a good thing they’re getting rid of DEI programs, it shows that it looks bad to have them. But with the movement towards BRIDGE, we cannot afford to celebrate just yet. Not even close.
