Being in love? Maybe. I saw a lot of this behavior. But then… His avoidance kicked in. He became cold, distant, curt, abrupt. Kept me at arms length… Refused to talk about anything in depth. So maybe he was in love, but his avoidance habits took over and I could not live with it.
