Windows was trying to fix what wasnt broken, in my opinion. This new action center is a huge downgrade over the previous one. Accessing notifications is now such a hassle.

I used the windows 10 connect area in the action center to connect to my wireless bluetooth peripherals, e.g. Galaxy Buds. I can't do this anymore, since the new connect area only shows display options. Always need to go to the Bluetooth menu and search there. Bummer :-(

On tablets, the action center is a right swipe from the edge of the screen but you have to hunt and peck for the WiFi and volume icons to bring up the quick settings menu. Windows 11 needs to have a touch gesture for quick settings too.

Amen to that! I don't use Focus Assist nearly enough, and when I don't, I regret it.

I hate that there is no gesture to open action centre. Bcs of that I cant change on surface without keyboard brightness in fullscreen 😒.

Nice overview :) I just do not get the point of the Calendar pop out as you cannot click on to it to add an event or see any events connected via Outlook etc it just seems a huge waste of space.

This looks like an elegant improvement over W10. However, I'm going to hold off installing W11 for the time being. Please keep the videos coming 🙂

hey, thanks for the video... if you have any connection to windows, please kick them all in the a** for me. I've never seen something so stupid in an upgrade... they even got rid of quick actions like "connect" where with 3 clicks you could connect to bluetooth headphones... now you need 5 clicks (seems unmentionable but for product development this is a huge deal) Also, when bluetooth settings open, why do you need to click the 3 dot icon and then click "connect" instead of making everyones life easier by adding a "connect" button right in that windows view. I sometimes feel Windows product managers / designers don't think before acting.

I noticed that windows 11 relocated the Tablet Mode and got rid of the Action Center. Does anyone know where I can find it or did windows 11 get rid of Tablet Mode as well?
