How to Keep Laptop Screen On When Lid Is Closed Windows 11

What I would love is a way to delay the sleeping. Sleep saves battery but can also be annoying when you're only closing the lid for a minute to shift locations, reaching for a drink, etc. It would be nice to have the ability to select "sleep after 5 minutes of the lid being closed when on battery."

Question. Can I program it to where I use it but when I'm not using it when lid is closed. It would go to sleep 5 minutes of inactivity when connected to a monitor. I just want to be able to use it without going to sleep when the lid is closed when playing games. Then logg off and close the lid then wait till 5 minutes doing nothing and have it go to sleep mode. Is this possible?

did the resolution change on the external monitor? do you have any solution for this?

You have to open the control panel to get these settings and I had to search for the control panel to find it. Clicking the Windows button and choosing settings does not get you to the power settings for closing the lid. This is a very poor design by Microsoft. If I plug in an external monitor to the laptop it should either automatically not shut down when I close the laptop lid or there should be an easy to find option to leave the laptop on when I close the lid.

My setting are set to do nothing, yet the laptop monitor still turns off when closed. any ideas to what is wrong?

Doesn t work for me, when i close the lid the screen goes black anyway, laptop keeps running for a while but then stops, i have lenovo loq 15 if any1 can help
