Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that this guy gave us 15 minutes of solid information, and how much work he must have put into this video (e.g. the self-made clips)?

2:02 Not being able to drag and drop files into programs on the task bar is completely absurd...

As a person with severe hearing loss and having to use headphones to interact with Windows, I have to thank you for presenting the differences in the Windows 11 sounds between light and dark mode, as well as comparing them to Windows 10. Most people would probably hear a negligible difference, but for someone like me, the dark mode sounds are virtually impossible to distinguish. I love using dark mode in Windows 10, and in fact the Windows 10 sounds in your comparison test were the most clear of all three to me. However, it looks like I will be having to stick with light mode when I upgrade to Windows 11 just to hear the stupid sounds! It sort of sucks that Microsoft doesn't accommodate people with hearing difficulties by simply keeping all volumes equal. Quite a bizarre feature, actually. Having said that, you really need to speak a bit slower and clearer. I had to slow the video down to 75% just to understand you. I needed the CC captions too. Other people have commented on this too, so just a heads up 🙂 You must have been excited to spread the news 😆 Thanks again anyway 🙏

Just stopping by to say the time and work you put into this video is incredible. Great work man.

Upgrading to Windows 11 feels more like changing the theme than upgrading the OS.

Feels like they designed this for their Surface Pro in mind instead of the PC market.

I got my first pre built pc and have been trying to slowly teach myself about the parts and programs im using. It is very rare to find someone who teaches in a simple format so thank you!

UI design is literally altering between sharp and round corners every few years.

Huge shoutout for the effort put into the video.

I spent years using windows 8.1. Windows 10 felt like a game changer. That Start Menu was the best one Windows had. It's the best suited for productivity so far. I hated the tiles of v8.1 but to combine them in the start menu is genius. Had to buy a new laptop which came with Windows 11. It's aesthetically nicer (although they really need to get rid of yellow folders and give an option to change folder colours once and for all to any colour of the spectrum we choose). The big problem is this start menu. I almost don't need to have one. Why did they downgrade the v10 start menu????

So basically they removed countless features and smartphone-ized the UI… Got it.

there's absolutely no reason why they would remove the detailed clock with seconds so why did they do that

You just made my day. Being an older model, I was really worried about going from Win10 to Win11 but I can definitely deal with the changes. Thank you!

It's really strange that Windows has defined a number of things that make their OSs really nice to use, then every single new release they try to remove it.
Windows 10 wasn't perfect, but removing options from it wouldn't be the direction I would go with it...

The utter obsession to design web pages and desktop applications and now even the operating system to emulate a mobile phone or a tablet is maddening. A PC is a PC.
