OMG, THANK YOU 😭 It seems so hard to get this kind of cut and dry information these days ! Everyone is constantly offended, and you have to precurse everything with trigger warnings, but THIS is what I needed . Simple, to the point, and easy to understand, backed by facts ! Yes ! ❤

I wish they'd elaborate on "get more sleep".... The insomnia struggle is REAL. I want to sleep more!! But up for hours in the middle of the night...lack of sleep is a horrible way to spend the day 🥺

All so true!!! I lost 80 lbs over 2 yrs. Mostly 1 lb a wk. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but I have been able to maintain for over a yr. Portion control, not eating at nite.

Any advice for perimenopausal women? I follow all these rules and the weight doesn’t budge.

Solid advice, she gets right to it and please listen when she says to lose it slowly (I know you can do .5-2lbs a week which I did, but it's much better to do it slowly so you can learn those better habits.)

Yes to low intensity exercise! I’m finding it so much more difficult to lose weight now in the winter because it’s too dark/rainy where I live to go on long enjoyable walks. I didn’t realize how much those walks upped my metabolism - those few hundred calories really make the difference in whether a deficit feels like I’m almost eating normally vs only eating scraps.

I’ve been wanting to get back into working out to get moving again but not felt that motivated - this a good reminder than it can be low intensity/gentle

Tabata workouts are fantastic also. 4 mins high intensity burns calories for hours later. You can even sit down and use 1 kg hand weights. It’s all about moving.

I set myfitness pal to loose half a pound a week. It works so well for me. And no joke sometimes I loose 2 lbs out of nowhere. I believe it does help the metabolim. Also its easier to stick to because Im not starving. Slow and steady wins the race!

I have a question!! Do you have any advice to women (like myself) dealing with PCOS and the issues that make weight loss so difficult? Like insulin resistance and sensitivity, consistent hunger cues which can lead to over-eating since you never feel full, and unbalanced hormones which can also make losing weight hard. It’s so hard to look at people around me who take this advice and get the results you describe, yet when I do I get half the results if I’m lucky… what would you recommend?

I am not listening what she is saying (joking). Just amazed how quickly she is talking trying to squeeze as much information into the 1 minute video and still gets the message across 😅
