In this video I will solve the same basic transistor circuit as the previous circuit using an equivalent circuit and node analysis method.

First video in this series can be seen at:

Just completed your transistor lectures, fantastic job! I am the 79 year old guy, left school at 15, everything was so clear; you really have made my day. Thank you.

I am learning for my hamradio licence ( Dutch equivelent of extra class). the books got me dazzeling. Your clear teaching gave me some light on the theory. Many thanks.

Studying for my physics electronic class. Thank you so much. The book is a pain.

Was recommended your ch 3 series by a friend, in school for ECE and these were incredibly useful. Thanks so much for your time and effort! You will help many students to come

How I wish I could pay your flight to Kenya just so you come over and teach my damn electronics lecturer. I think he probably never went to any University. That' dude is a quack physicist.
Thank you so much.

Question: Do you have a video explaining how to draw the equivalent circuit of a transistor ?

Thank you sir. I'm sure that i will get good grades in Electronic

hello! I have a quick question: If we assume Ie=Ic then if we write current mesh equation for ground point we will not get a correct equation, right? we will be short of 1Ib which we dont take into account when we assume Ie=Ic=150Ib (not 150+1). Correct?

Sir, should'nt the beta change to alpha because based on your calculation Ie = 150 Ib. It is from the ratio of emitter current to the base current, so should'nt it be alpha instead of beta?

It's a wonderful video. There is one point I can't understand. Why the current through 1000ohm resistor is IE not IC?

Hi Sir, if we consider a p-n-p transistor, then will the base-to-emitter voltage (V)BE be positive? i.e +0.7V ?
Thank you sir, the videos were extremely helpful. Looking forward for the future videos.

Thanks so much! do you have or will you have videos with AC analysis?? rpi equivalence circuit

hey when you solved at 3:52 isn't Ie meant to be the collector current (Ic)? not the emitter current

sir, first let me thank you for all your helpful lectures. i was wondering if you have any lecture series on diodes because i couldnt find any.

Hi professor, may I know why I sub E is (150 I sub B) but not (151 I sub B)? As you mentioned earlier, current gain = I sub C/I sub B and I sub E= I sub C + I sub B
