The Ic vs Vce curve explained, thank you so much!!
Following your explanation with Vce=0.5 V and Ib= 500 uA, Ic= 20 mA because it is saturated.
From this point we can increase Vce until 1 V and obtain the maxim Ic with Ib=500 uA for a saturated state Ic=50 mA.
Increasing still some Vce=3 V we will still get around Ic=50 mA, above the saturation region Ic basically depends on Ib (b·Ib) and not on Vce.
