Fortunately I was raised by parents who kept warning me to ‘trust no one’. This advice has saved my life on separate occasions.
In addition to what is said here another tip to prevent becoming a victim is…
“Everything is behavior. Every behavior has a function. So what behavior am I observing and what is its function ie why is it happening.?
This concept will help you analyze and stay ahead of predators seeing you as prey 😉

Over many years I have dated so many narcissist abuse survivors just trying to make their way in the world after being so damaged by these people. The damage these narcissists do to someone self-esteem is so immense. So many beautiful lovely people who struggle to love, hold onto themselves and believe in themselves. It's such a nightmare for them and for us who love for them and want to share a life with them. It's something the world really needs to understand more. You are so right. My first psycho girl experience chanced my whole being. After starting dating again you can't imagine how much shark test bites i got.
I few dates a little sex and off they go or more so it's me leaving.
I feel vaccinated. Some men may say 'sex for free', but in reality it feels like covid.
Now i learned to feel this objectifying vibe and just leave the table.

Are you with a narcissist? It's easy, set a boundary. If they try to cross it, whether directly or otherwise, ( by step it) you know. Just don't ignore it when it happens. Confront it if you want ( not advised) just cut it off. Completely. Don't look back or question yourself. Nobody who respects someone continues to try and do something that makes another person uncomfortable or feel disrespected. If you are questioning yourself, ask yourself, would I do that to someone else? You know the answer, be brave enough to do what you need to do.

To be treated poorly is just as mentally ill as the abuser. Grow up and stop the insanity. If they were not sick they would simply...LEAVE.
