Hey guys: don't forget to do low weight day, anything between 500-700lbs should be light and easy. Just get the form right.

Platz found the "happy medium". Pure form with heavy weight for high reps. He didn't increase weight until he could do 50 reps.

Tom platz had legs way ahead of his era. It wasnt until the mass monsters came around who were on tons more gear who had legs that could even come close.

I went to the universe competition that he won in 1980. The guy was so shredded. To this day I remember talking to him after ( I was friends with Ed Corney ). Tom was as down to earth a guy as you’d ever meet. We took a pic with Ed. I still have that pic on the wall in my home gym. Serious motivation at 62 yrs old.
