I've been hardcore vaping for like 6-7 years now. Felt invincible never had a problem. I am now 31 years old and just last night I felt like I was on the verge of a heart attack. Freaked me the fuck out. I just quit cold turkey and went for a run and feel so much better now. I just needed some words of encouragement and found this video. I don't know who needs to here this but vapes gunna fuck you up.

I vaped for 3 years and I’ve been quit for 7 months now. Tried to quite a few times before then but ultimately praying for God to help me quit is what worked. One day I just noticed I went a few hours without thinking about it. Then I was like hey I might could go a little longer. And I just kept going as long as I could without it then I became proud of myself for the restraint I had and within just a few days I laid it down for the last time.

I quit for 3 years went back into it for 5 months now going on 6 months back off, im glad to say that vaping is the dumbest thing ive ever done, I still even after years would get urges and gave in. So for all the people that are stopping please stay on track use that feeling towards creating healthier habits (for me it was working out or running) and dont give in and if you do, forgive yourself.

Going on five months now since I stopped. I initially quit back in 2021 for a year and started back up around April of 2022. I still have my moments where I get withdrawals and want to get a quick puff but I started to change my daily habits to keep my mind busy. Going to the gym, focusing on school, work, etc.

I’d mainly vape as a way to relax myself whenever I was stressed but ended up using it more as a crutch. It affected my daily habits/mood and kind of got in a little bit of a rut.

Happy to say I’ve been staying strong and keep on reminding myself why I quit.

Anyone on here looking to do the same, you guys got this!! It’s definitely not easy but continue to fight and remember what motivated you to stop 🤙❤️

Coming up on 7 months. Quit back in August after an uncle I respected found out about my addiction I was hiding. He never thought I’d be the kind of person to fall into that trap. I felt like that wasn’t me and I knew it wasn’t me. Shit is amazing. The range of emotions are so much wider.

It's been 3 months for me as well. Here's how it all went for me:
Before: I used to be the person who would just say to a person, "It's bad". Then eventually it became something that was like, "I guess I could taste it" then it was like an addiction.
During addiction: Wasted millions of dollars on cigarettes and e-cigarettes to the point where I lost 31kg (68lbs) and grew weak bones and muscles. When I came home for good, I said I quit it.
Aftermath: Things like cigarettes and e-cigarettes still draw my attention but it's more controlled now like when a person crosses me while holding a cigarette I would just look at him. Now it's to the point where I'm like passing and I just look down. To distract myself from smoking thoughts I just pray because I'm a Muslim or sometimes I just do pushups.
These are the stages of smoking.
If I would confess to this. I would say it was a grave mistake that I still regret. And mostly, I want to keep my blood clean so if my father or mother needs it. They can just take it.

Honestly. Once you quit, NEVER EVER GO BACK. I made the mistake of “one wouldn’t hurt now that I beat it”. Nope.. don’t. TRUST ME. Please I’m telling you don’t DO IT.

Been vaping unfortunately for about 7 years with many thoughts of wanting to quit over the years but never having the willpower to do it. I’m about 2 hours in right now it’s the last vice I need to quit thanks for the vid!

Day 8 of quitting after maybe 7 years vaping. First 4 days i felt completely manic, i carried a dead vape in my hand for comfort for them 4 days and ive ate soo much food . I feel a lot calmer and confident in becoming a complete non smoker/vaper.

Quit 5 months ago after about 7 years of daily vaping. Decided to use pouches to satiate cravings but am slowly tapering off them, only got a 1 dot strength right now and only have one every 2-3 days. Keep going bros you got this!

Wrapping up day 12 now.

I’d say the thing that’s been rough is the insomnia. Find myself waking up after 2-4 hours after falling asleep and bouncing in and out of it for the rest of the night.

Praise God for this. He hit the nail on the head when he mentioned God. Yes, yes God needs to be involved in your quitting. In fact he is the answer to quitting. There is nothing to big for Jesus and it put a huge smile on my face to here this man bring our Lord and saviour up. Thank you sir

Thank you, this was really helpful. As a 53 year old who started smoking at 12, then quit at 28 for almost 10 years but then started again and stopped and started vaping then quit that, then all the back and forth 🤦🏼‍♀️ I know you are so right!🎉

Do you go to Nicotine Anonymous meetings? I used them to quit the first time and it was so healing!
