*Side note:* While I understand the preference of having chapters for a 3H+ podcasts as soon as possible, I should've never started doing them on time as I've set unrealistic expectations for myself and others who would be interested in creating timecodes - it's mentally taxing to do them at 4-10 AM, and I've done at least 128 by now with a past attempt to retire haha.

There is absolutely a point to PDF files. I've had to print government and university paperwork, and often when it was delivered as a word document (.doc or .docx, but mostly the former) the format of the pages was fairly often messed up due to version incompatibility. A .pdf ensures that the sender and the receiver will see the same thing upon opening up the document.

Hi, just to add context because I'm working in cybersecurity in Singapore, the scam process for side loading apps on an Android phone includes a person calling the victim and getting them to download an SDK, turning on developer mode and getting them to download the malware. The usual use cases of this are massive offers given by e-commerce stores or some special super incentives that the victims fall for.

I have been working with the newspapers quite a bit to explain how not to fall for the scams but it's still happening at scale, so I can understand why they might request for help from Google regarding this. And if I understand this properly, it is a blacklist based system (basically if the app or malware appears on a list, Google will block it).

I wonder what your thoughts on it are knowing this context? First time commenting because it directly relates to my work as well!

PDFs ensure PORTABILITY of the document (in the name) - whereas word, or other formats may look slightly different in different apps (ever open a word doc in google docs?). Editing them? Yeah, thats a pain. But marking them up, viewing, and using them? Every. Time.

The way the battery capacity on Vision pro is presented showcases an annoyance I had for years. Yea, it's only 3100 mAh or so, but it's at much higher voltage than say an iPhone battery. So it's gonna hold more energy as well. The best way to compare battery capacities is by using a proper unit. It's 36Wh on the Vision Pro and 13Wh on iPhone 15. That comparison makes much more sense and represents the actual energy stored.

I can confirm that Logitech support is still amazing. Recently, a keycap on my G815 just broke (one of the little feet broke off so the cap doesn't stay on the switch anymore) - contacted them via their support chat thing and they just offered to send me an entire new keyboard. They ended up sending me *two* brand new G815 by accident and told me to keep the extra when I asked them about it. They're great.
