I left Christianity on August 4th 1973 and I came back to Christianity when my youngest daughter gave me a copy of season one on Dvd to watch. The Chosen has transformed my life. Thank you for everything you do!

God has a plan for each of us. Having lost 3 adult children, a granddaughter and my husband has been confusing sometimes. Why have I been left, disabled, in constant pain several illnesses. But I stop and praise my Father for all He gives me. His plan is Supreme!! Blessings

As my 20 month old daughter laid in ICU after drowning I prayed that she would wake up. I just knew God would and could heal her. When they turned off the machines, I just couldn’t watch. I went upstairs to be with her younger twin brothers who were in the hospital with other issues. Two years later we lost another daughter, at 10 1/2, to a brain tumor. The twins continued to have medical issues. I know God has a plan. I wish he left voice mail. One day I will have my babies back and be able to thank God for letting my husband survive an unsurvivable brain bleed. Thank you all for being out there and praise God for helping you all to flourish.

I’ll never forget sitting at my uncles funeral & asking God “who’s next?” & him naming my husband. I knew my husband was going to die but I didn’t realize it would be 3 weeks later. Even forewarned I was not prepared. My prayer for a long time after was “I don’t understand but I trust You.” His sovereignty pulled me through one of the darkest times in my life. LOVE The Chosen!!

The time and thought that Dallas and the team put into talking to us about these kinds of issues, with such sensitivity and compassion, while still maintaining a Biblical perspective, is very much appreciated. I truly feel like I am a part of The Chosen family. Praying for you all. ❤️🙏

Thirty years ago I lost my husband to cancer. We prayed, and lots of people prayed for his healing, but God did not. At first, I was angry, but I've come to terms with it. God is sovereign and His will be done. Who am I to question him. It also happened to my daughter. Serving God in the church, both of them and their children were very active in the church. Her husband died in her arms as she was performing CPR. The paramedics came into the house in time to pronounce him dead. My daughter and I both widows, within years of each other! God does not owe us anything. We owe him our Salvation and all the blessings He bestows on us. Go Dallas. Continue with your amazing work. I love, have loved, and will continue to love this amazing show and the way it is written and portrays the life of Jesus, his disciples, and the scriptures. Keep up this amazing work! Be blessed.

1. The chosen is fiction.
2. Based on the truth of the bible.
3. It is not the bible.
4. Read your bible.
5. God's answer to prayer is not always yes or no, but sometimes it is WAIT.
6. What if these bad things that happen, cause someone else to become a believer? That is a win...
7. Thank you Dallas for being brave & giving us just a glimpse, from your heart, into what life may have been like, outside of the records in the bible.
8. I feel bad for anyone who has stopped watching due to something they have disagreed with, because they're missing out on the next part where it's fixed, resolved, healed, explained or reconciled...

As a Pastor I read these comments and listen to this video and my heart just weeps. How ignorant we are of who God is and of His word. I pray for all of you (and myself) that the eyes of our hearts will be enlightened to understand who truly our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ is.

I am a Catholic high school teacher in Canada and I think the best way to watch this show is with a soft heart and follow the stories and grow the desire to go back to the gospels. Thanks for doing that for me.

Thank you for showing the reality of life. Not everyone is healed, not everyone comes to faith even in Christian familities BUT He is still God and He is still sovereign

God is Sovereign! His ways are not our ways. This situation reminds me of when I was desperate for God to heal me of degenerative osteoarthritis in my knees. I was in my early 50s and felt I was too young to suffer this way. I was raising my 5yr old grandson. The healing didn’t come. I questioned my faith and my walk with God. My sister kept saying “you are healed” but nothing changed. What did come, to God’s glory, was the ability to lead a 90yr old lady to Jesus in prayer. That was worth more to me than healing. All praise to God.

I know some have been critical of the Thomas ❤ Rhema relationship since the inception of that, yet I think has had fabulous value for multiple reasons.
- Men and women are attracted to one another as God designed.
- Peter was NOT the only married apostle.
- Jesus is not a genie in a bottle He is sovereign God.
- Sometimes the answer is No to our appeals on high.

Thanks Ryan, Tyler, Dallas for doing what you do and not shying away from boldness.

The Creator, Redeemer, Savior is bold, world-changer.

Thank you all for this conversation. I was genuinely shocked at the ending of ep 3. My dad died in my arms & after the torment I came to the BIG SURRENDER. Trusting that I don't understand the big picture that only God knows. My daughter was a heartbeat away from death @ 17 mos old & was given a second chance to live. The type 1 diabetes diagnosed was NOT healed & she is my greatest hero of courage & trust living with this dreaded disease for 28 yrs & living her best life! Trust & Surrender are a gift we give ourselves.

I always pray for you, and I hope these reactions won’t make you shy or diminished in front of the reality of life in this world and in front of the Scriptures. The truth is more important in the long term and, in time, we all will understand. I myself suffered a lot, I even went through physical pain, because I didn’t saw it coming and I was surprised. And it wakes up pains and unlived grief in everyone - and I took my time to metabolize it, and I still am working on it. Please have patience with us, because we are growing in our faith too 🙏🏼✨

The careful handling of “That’s not my Jesus, ” well done Dallas. I so agree. Jesus does know each of us and what each of needs in each moment and He will give us what we need and He does know best. That said, there have been times when I needed a hug and my human people didn’t give that to me, AND vice versa. BUT, in that moment, when I finally chose to go to Jesus in it, He gave me that very special touch through the Holy Spirit. His sovereignty is so amazing and almost unfathomable. Praise His Holy Name.

This livestream was really informative and helpful. Thanks for sharing and for listening to your audience. As shocking this season begins, the main overall point is that the Twelve (and other disciples) were human, went through human experiences that are not specifically mentioned in scripture, and they suffered as we all do --- with finances, sickness, relationships, loss and grief. The extrabiblical story lines in The Chosen are plausible, but not scripture. Yet they do fill out the human characters that were part of the story of Jesus and they place Jesus in the midst of very real humanity --- Immanuel, God with us.

God Bless you ALL, I’m from TN. I traveled to Austin, TX in search of my homeless daughter. The Lord led me to her within 4 hours of arriving in Austin. I drove home after leaving her there per her request. Watching her walk away with a backpack & nothing else was the Most difficult thing to do. To head home not knowing if I’ll ever see her again & trust the Lord. I prayed & sang with Christian radio “Even If” song.
End of episode 3 took me back to that day & am thankful for the peace He brought to my heart.
Love You Lord with all my heart, mind & soul.
