This is so true, I put on 25lbs in 2 months by eating 4-5 meals a day making sure every meal had some type of meat and atleast 850 plus calories per meal. And drink 3-4 cups a day of milk until I reach my ideal goal.

I still want my morning fasting as it helps with cognitive functions and at least 1 hour before bed because it makes sleep worse, and sleep is just as important

Amen. Im starting now. Used to hover at 180-190 but it was from the alcohol slowing my metabolism and whiskey adding on weight. Now im 160 and hardgaining so started counting calories and eating so much. It is alot of work indeed. Im going to aim for 2800 calories a day. 130g protein. Plus I do a ton of calisthenics and the muscle memory should help me pack on muscle I am hoping!

In other words, the sooner you eat, the easier it is to get 3000 daily calories down. I struggle gaining weight but I chose to eat as much as I could within 7 hours. Due to school/work/money. The thing is, now I’m hungry before gym, after gym, and the whole damn day so now I carry snacks. If I don’t I lose weight quick. Eating is harder than the workout sometimes

just a quick correction to your statement. don't eat within an hour before bed as it might give you acid reflux

Eating before bed causes nightmares. And your body shouldn’t be digesting food while you sleep, it will burn more calories.

The more quality food you eat, the less you need to eat, also your body goes into recovery and repair when you’re fasting so u dont need to eat throughout the day

Actually, it is said that it is good for longevity to not eat directly after bed and not before bed. And it is probably still possible to get big while doing this

The biggest tip i can give for weight gain is to avoid going from your normal intake to max. Example: 2400 - 4000, if you do this you might gain weight for a month or so but eventually you will hit a wall. Instead i would recommend starting at your normal intake and adding 100cal every week. Hard gainers will understand what i mean.

Okay, and do you have some real advice for hardgainers? Im eating 3 times a day already. When i try to eat more calories than my body needs, i feel sick and like i gonna puke, if i try to eat more.
