I'm having problems with my go500. I do a reset and it gets as far as askin which language I want, after that it asks which country, but it does not show any countries to choose from nor will it let me continue. Any ideas please?

My GO5200 will not switch off. I get the tomtom sign, then when I press the start/finish button, the tomtom sign re-appears with a white line across the bottom of the screen. that's all !

This doesn't help. My issue is that the power button got stuck and the device constantly rebooted without starting. I pulled the button off but can't figure out how to get it back on and for whatever reason there is NO IMAGE ANYWHERE showing which way the button is supposed to mount.

I'm stuck with two maps: one installed on my TomTom 500, the other registered in MyDrive as "installed" to the SD card (even though I've wiped it). Now I can't update either, can't uninstall them, can't repair them. I've been stuck in MyDrive for hours. On the list of shitty user experiences, I give this 9 out of 10 shit points so far.

My Tom Tom is useless since I bought it. I was advised to wait for an update by the advisor and then when the next update came around it didn't fix it and was out of warranty. My free Google Maps has been so much better

Definitely avoid buying one!!

never reset to factory settings or every street address you ever previously had on there, will be wiped off and when you return none of those streets will ever appear on there again if you search for them
