Awesome video! I found some of these tips to be really helpful, because my corn snake is in shed right now as well.

Awesome. We won’t be feeding our corn during shed again...she’s been on her first shed for a long time now, we thought since she accepted the food she’d be okay but her shed was not good at all...thanks for the tips

when you say don't feed during the shedding cycle, how long do you not feed? I feed usually once a week. or when do you know when to stop feeding. My snake is dull right now. She is definitely going to shed i just don't know when.

Video is old but I felt a need to post a comment on it. I have been breeding and selling snakes and many other reptiles for 45 years and always fed my snakes during shed and never ever had a shedding problem. If your experiencing shed problems when you feed them I recomend you research other reasons why. Also there's no need for lights as corns are mainly nocturnal and don't need them for heat either because snakes absorb heat through their underside. They also don't need as much humidity as boas and pythons and many other snakes that naturally occur in humid jungle type environments so I don't mist their environments I just supply a large water bowl and that serves the purpose.

I always worried about misting or adding damp material to help humidity due to mold. Do you know if these methods can cause mold growth on the cage?
