I stopped using heroine and started binge eating sugars, mainly ice cream. I just started ozempic and it has stopped my food ( binge eating ice cream) cravings completely the same way vivitrol stopped my craving for opioids when I stopped using heroine! It’s like some one turned off the craving faucet and the compulsion and obsession are also gone! I feel so clear and my mind is so quiet! I feel like crying because I haven’t had a mental peace for a long while!

I was a hardcore alcoholic for 15 years. It was going to kill me, seriously. I quit drinking right around the same time I started Ozempic. I did not keep track of the dates, but it was approximately the same time. I was unable to quit despite hitting rock bottom, but something killed the desire.

It is obvious to me that obesity and type-2 diabetes are symptoms of addiction in most cases. Food addiction that is. That is why both Mounjaro and ozempic and wegovy are so effective at treating obesity and type 2 diabetes. They are both symptoms of the same disease, food addiction. I speak from personal experience. I am formerly obese person with type 2 diabetes. Taking Mounjaro. Have lost 100 lb and now have normal a1c. What a relief to not have food cravings control my life and health!

Yes it can! I suffered from sever chronic alcoholism where I was drinking a bottle of hard alcohol a day. This obviously really increased my bmi. After taking Mounjaro, my cravings for alcohol stopped and I went from having a huge amount a day to one small 330ml bottle and then to non alcoholic drinks. I would say this helped me save my life and also my marriage. I now want to go outside more and go tot he gym more as well.

noticed not biting my nails for a while yet didn’t stop my wine drinking habit. Also stopped smoking for 5 years yet back at it… lost 30 lbs in 4 months.
