I was on Ozempic for 2 months. I told my doctor that it felt like a daily hangover. Headache and nausea. I’ve gone in the direction of behavioral health. Understanding why I overeat and consciously opting for healthy long term eating habits. Down 25 pounds so far.

I’m on ozempic for over a year and i can now stop eating when I want and cravings are barely there. However I always include protein in all my meals because it’s common sense whenever you are in a caloric deficit you need enough protein. I also train 2-3 times a week in the gym. So far everything’s working fine, no muscle loss

I have lost some muscle. But what I gained in mobility, energy, and losing my addiction and dependence on food and alcohol way outweighs the cons of the drug. It’s saved my life. I was suicidal

It should be prescribed with a weight loss plan : high protein and exercise and education. Prescribed responsibly to the right patient

I’m on Ozempic for weight loss and the best part about it is that I’m no longer consumed with thoughts about food. I still eat 3 meals a day and have barely experienced any nausea! Never actually thrown up! I do like that I’m losing a little weight but the lightening of my mental load has made it sooo worth it

Moronic. My dad lost over 100 lbs at 80 yo after a lifetime of chronic obesity. He threw away his BP meds he'd been on for 40 years and now walks without a walker.
It shouldn't be prescribed for ppl who have 10 lbs to lose but people who really need it and have struggled for years- it is 100% a miracle.

Yes, that's why these celebs don't look toned, they look emaciated

I am on Ozempic. I eat a high protein diet, always protein first, and I exercise every night for between 15 and 45 minutes doing walking videos online. I was warned about the muscle loss and was told to combat that by high protein diet and exercise daily. I take it for blood sugar control, but I have also been slowly losing around 2 pounds a week. I find that with my blood sugar levels controlled, I don't crave sugary foods and starchy foods like I used to. It's not a magic pill, just a tool that you must use with other tools to achieve the best results.

This “doc” is totally wrong. I’ve lost 80 pounds on Ozempic but have consistently exercised and my muscle mass is much healthier than ever. My A1C is now normal and my blood sugar is now around 105 on average.

You’re sensationalizing this. Lift weights and consume protein to lessen muscle loss.

How about being 436 pounds? I went on Manjuro and have lost 135lbs? It literally save my life!

I’m on it and it’s helping me because I’m insulin resistant and have high blood pressure. I’m losing weight slowly, working with a trainer for weight lifting, eating protein, my blood pressure is better and I also do not plan to stay on it. I’m also making better choices with food. With my insulin resistance, I can’t lose no matter what I do and this is helping me personally. There are side effects, but mine hasn’t been too bad.

From what several of my friends and coworkers experienced it seemed like a paid for eating disorder. None of them had the desire to eat and if they did they were all running to the bathroom for one end or another. After watching that happen to them, I decided to go old school and go to a bootcamp in the morning and watch my macros. I'm a month in and down 8 pounds. I'm good with that.

I am diabetic and Ozempic has helped me so much...losing the weight is just the gift that comes with it. I take vitamins also ... no muscle mass lost yet...

I love the medicine. I have always lift some weights. I have lost 85 pounds and feel better than I have felt in 39 years

She’s saying it’s bad cause she’s promoting her keto content and wants to expand and oxempic eating into her influence on eating.

I've had diabetes for nearly 20 years now. I am also quite obese. I've avoided all weight loss drugs....but now it's time to tackle the problem. I need Ozempic now.
