In short, Bob is the only good person here, he may have made it some mistakes in the past, but he's the only one that truly believes in Patty, takes care of her, doesn't let her or his former mentor seduce him staying loyal to his wife, and generally only wants to help the girl and recover his reputation that was ruined by a false accusation. Patty just wants revenge and becomes another bully, but Bob stays focused and doesn't let the situation change him

To defend this show, the moral of the story was that being “pretty” on the outside, doesn’t matter if your insides/personality is ugly. You have to love yourself before and after and change your looks for yourself first and foremost, revenge second and optional.


And it really is a fun show, with emotional moments and craziness that keeps you hooked, and a lot of realistic insight on eating disorders. Patty did some evil actions but you sometimes had to root for her because the people she was going up against were evil as hell.
