I’m amazed that so many patients on this show can afford the amount of food they eat, especially the large quantities.

I shouldn’t have laughed, but when Dr. Now said, “well they can deliver salads” I lost it

I gotta hand it to this guy. A lot of patients try to sugar coat their habits. He's completely honest with Dr. Now and himself.

His cousin is such a supportive and loving Angel. Not an ounce of judgment in her. He’s very lucky to have her.

I have been thinking about gastric bypass since 2014 on and off. In 2018 around November I weighed myself and I had gotten up to 518 pounds. By then my mom had saw me, and she was scared that I was gonna die. My little niece told me that she was scared that she would lose her only uncle. That weekend I couldn’t even walk up the stairs in a parking garage I knew I needed to get help. That’s when I finally looked in the gastric bypass they started the process in January 2019. Since January 2019 I’ve lost 318 pounds.

Dr. Now: How do you think you got to this point?
Him: Eating
Dr. Now: Well I can’t argue with that

Listen, I come from a family skinny to obese as you get older. I hit 25 and shot up to 294 at 5’4. Now at 38, I’m 181, where I feel comfortable at. Joint pain and arthritis is no joke, especially when being overweight.

I like that he doesn’t complain, whenever he gets tired from walking he rest but ALWAYS gets back up. I believe that he will lose the weight ❤

How does he pay for all this while on disability? Delivery is expensive as hell. And adds up quickly.

“My breakfast is over”
I’ve never considered a meal “over”. “Finished” yes, but not “over”…like an event😅

I think this guy is one of the most honest ones yet. No manipulation or ego comes from him.

God bless his cousin, she is so supportive and open minded. Not like the people here, the rudeness isnt needed. This is not a case for some of yall to get to feel superior to someone else because you dont struggle with the same problem. This isnt a moral failure.
