I work at Verizon and no one will act like this and most people tend to go out of their way to find you discounts on your plan in order to sell you more. No employee cares because it doesn’t affect our performance or pay 😂💀

I worked at Verizon for 12 years. This discount is right on the website like the rest of them and us reps could care less it doesn't effect us to give discounts. We always looked for ways to save.

What the video doesn’t tell you is that her sister has to be put on her account as an “account manager” so she can apply her discount. At some point her sister will have to update her student discount and once she is no longer a student and can no longer provide proof, the discount falls off.

This works city to city branch to branch and you can’t sign for someone else you would need a card for a student or some other proof

Verizon doesn’t tell? Nah, they tell you all your options and then lead you into gettin a newer phone. The discount is the trick to get people to get new phone while thinking they’re paying low.

Yeah as a corporate rep I’ll just say we do everything we can to save people money while still getting them the deals they want. Nobody is reluctant to hand out discounts. We work on salary plus commission. It’s a benefit to us to help people out and it’s very mutual.
