Yeah, get a free iPhone, but pay for an expensive unlimited plan you don't need!

Technically you get what you pay for! I've been with Verizon since 2004 no problems

Always buy an unlocked phone. It's cheaper in the long run. These carrier deals are all about locking you in and getting you on their most expensive plans. So you end up paying more in the end for these quote "deals". Plus by getting an unlocked model, you don't have to deal with carrier bloatware pre-installed to the device that takes up storage space and resources. Not all of it can be uninstalled. I'm talking about Android phones in particular for the bloated ware part.

One thing to keep in mind though is if you have autopay turned on, that saves $10/month. That's $360 over 3 years. And Visible doesn't have discounts for students or seniors. I'm actually saving $30/month on Verizon because I have autopay turned on, I'm using a student discount, and a $10/month bring your own device promotion over 36 months.

I did this but but with a trade in for the iPhone 13 Pro Max when it came out. They screwed my trade in up and instead of getting the monthly credit I had to call every 3 months to get a $250 bill credit applied for a year to get the $1000 off

The biggest reason why people finance with the carriers is because they make it easy to get approved. Visible you have to pay in full or use affirm. Bad credit is usually looked at a different view with att, verizon and tmobile. It would be nice if prepaid carriers would help with financing for people with low credit.

Thankyou for putting this together especially family plans!! Saves much research.

I’ll explain it to you. DONT DO IT. LOL! With US Mobile and Visible you’d be a fool to pay full price for verizon service.

Verizon might be a good deal for someone on a fixed income with food stamps since the food stamp office considers a phone bill a utility. As a result a $100 phone bill reported to the food stamp office will result in a $100 increase in food stamps which is beneficial since the elderly will not have to chose between their phone bill and food.

Yeah my Att bill was the same as what I’ll be paying Verizon a year from now. I’ve been with ATT for 15+ years and they would not offer me any money off new phones.

Visible Base and T-Mobile does not have service here. A friend of mine tried Visible base and another friends had T-Mobile a year or two ago and they rarely had service. So our only options were ATT or Verizon.

So for me it was ATT pay the same bill as Verizon but no new phones. So Verizon with new phones was worth it.

Nothing is free. They’ll charge you for it somehow.

I would rather they did a trade in up front and you pay the difference after your trade instead of this 36 month nonsense.

well, another thing to keep in my with this kind of things is the coverage and service from other providers, which varies a lot from location to location. in some parts verizon will work better and faster than t-mobile or att. and it goes the other way around as well. other thing, you don't want to be subjected to terms and conditions? buy it from apple unlocked, but it will cost you the 1k + dollars. I do get verizon plans are expensive, but sometimes they will work better in certain locations than other or include certain things or perks that might be helpful or enticing to some customers. I really don't get the entitlement of some folks wanting a free or discounted phone but not willing to accept the requirements that come with that discount or financing. and in regards with the tax? hey, taxes are taxes and depend a lot on your state. there's no way to avoid paying sales taxes, no matter the promotion.

Dont send in your old phone. They disappear and you get nothing, customer service is unresponsive.

Another super informative video, Stetson. You always make these carrier deals so much easier to understand. Definitely worth watching before jumping on that iPhone 15 offer!

Our business did the deal with 10 lines. Unlimited Plus for $15/line (BYOD) and some lines with the deal to get $830 off an iPhone 15 Pro came to $22.72/line. Considering we will be sticking with Verizon anyway, a better deal than any Verizon MVNO I could find.

I did it and I only own $200 left on the iPhone 15 pro max it's worth

Do the Netflix, Disney, Apple+ TV, Hulu, etc. subscriptions that Verizon, T-Mo and AT&T include in their bundles affect the rankings?
