If you get the folio touch make sure to download the logitech control app so you can update the firmware. An update had been released that makes it work perfectly instead of being choppy every once in a while.

I decided to go with the Logitech Folio Touch case instead of the magic keyboard. I thought the added weight and bulk would be hard for me to get used to but it’s not because with all of the added benefits of this case weight and bulk are not much of a concern for me. I also put the Paperlike screen protector on my iPad and this combo together is amazing and it works well for me so I’m very happy and pleased with my purchase choice. I would recommend the magic keyboard over the folio touch if you absolutely need the second usb-c port that it provides

It is a great option for those who don’t need to take their iPad out that often. The magic part for the magic keyboard is that it is easier to take out when I need use it in a tablet model.

If this was about computer keyboards I would say hell yeah go magic keyboard, but since this is an iPad which is supposed to be versatile, the magic keyboard seems to be limiting in aspects like viewing angles, putting the keyboard behind the ipad and such... I know you can detach the ipad from the keyboard to resolve having the keyboard on the way but then you are out of stand and now to go look for you iPad stand or iPad case with stand... Yeah all these seem to be small issues but when you are paying $300+ for a keyboard case, these shouldn't be an issue.

Magic Keyboard is not a case, obviously the Folio Touch is more durable and thicker - but the two should not be compared on the same basis. If you want the best keyboard experience, get the Magic Keyboard; if you want the best protection then get the case. Its really that simple. Its a bonus that the Folio Touch has a keyboard with function keys, the fact that the Magic Keyboard is better typing experience isn't something to consider in such a comparison, it comes down to two things - how much do you have to spend; which do you value more, protection or typing?

Why didn’t you download the app? It tells you to right away and makes the trackpad work just as well as the logic keyboard.
