After watching this video, I headed to Best Buy to see these two cases for myself. I already had a pretty good hunch that I was going to go for the Logitech, and after seeing them in person, that was the clear winner. The Apple case was actually cheap looking compared to this one. I know Jerry mentioned that his Logitech case didn’t fit perfectly at the corners, but like he guessed, this wasn’t an issue for me at all. The Logitech case feels so sturdy and protective. And I actually love how I can remove the entire keyboard and still have a protective case and a holder for my Apple Pencil. This is the most versatile, most aesthetically pleasing iPad case I’ve ever owned. Thank you so much for this video! I found it to be both helpful and accurate.

That was a fantastic comparison. Super helpful for new users of the iPad. I am an EVERYTHING-APPLE user but never really got into the iPad. I bought the 10th gen iPad last year and am trying to make the most of it. I was confused between the Magic keyboard and Logitech. Thanks to your video, I have a clear plan now.

Apple offers exoskeletons.
Logitech offers body armour.

It is rediculous how expensive the magic keyboard is. I feel like the ipad air is reasonably priced for its quality, but accessories apple makes are not only worse quality than the competition but often more expensive too

I’ve had the logitech combo touch and did not have a good experience with it. It’s cheaper yes, butt so are the materials used- the silicone material of the case degraded after about a year and became loose. I am now using the magic keyboard folio- got it refurbushed and am much happier

I have a similarly designed case for my iPad Mini 6, and I really like how it protects the edges of the tablet. It's also much easier to put on.

I think the reason the combo touch cases are getting tighter is because Logitech is trying to combat the warping and loosening that happens of time due to it being made of pliable rubber. I love my combo touch for iPad Air but it’s coming apart after 2 years and I can’t get a replacement despite being very careful with my device, will hold onto mine since it still works but will definitely be looking elsewhere when the time comes to replace it.

ESR in particular are looking really good with a range of designs whether you want something that mimics the magic keyboard or something more unique like their Ascend case.

Great video very informative. Answers a lot of questions others don’t address like the kickstand maximum angles. Subbed

I feel like more people need to see this video. You get a majority of the same keyboard features, a pencil loop (since they removed the Pencil Gen 2 magnets), *plus* better protection (assuming they iron out the fitting issues) for a whole $90 less.

Having the Combo Touch for iPad Pro, this feels like a middle ground between their Combo Touch and Folio Touch.

Also while I wouldn't get a Logitech Crayon, I still think the Gen 2 Crayon is a direct shot back at the Gen 1 Pencil/dongle argument. Yes, they both need to be plugged in, but at least one's a direct C-to-C instead of C-to-adapter-to-Lightning.

I initially bought the LogicTech Combo Touch. It didn’t fit my iPad 10th generation, despite applying significant force; very similar to your video. I returned it and bought the Magic Keyboard Folio. The keyboard is excellent and it’s perfectly compatible. It was $90 more, but well worth it.

I really think ESR’s bluetooth Keyboard/Trackpad units for all the iPads are better options than either Apple’s 1st party units, and the Logitech units, unless you really want the kickstand style set up.

Combo Touch KB for my iPad Pro 10.5 did not flip around, either. Just tested it to make sure I hadn't lost my mind. So, no change there and not a downgrade.

I bought the Magic Keyboard Folio for my 10th gen iPad and the kb & trackpad were great, but not better than the Combo Touch. Range of motion on the kickstand was not good enough. Finally, the magnets holding it closed were so weak, I couldn't stand it. So, I returned the Magic Keyboard Folio and am waiting for my new Combo Touch. Better product and far better value.

Been waiting for exactly this review: thank you.

I wish the Logitech keyboard could flip around the back while still connected…it’s awkward to have 2 pieces if I just want to do use the screen alone. But, the backlit keyboard and protective case will likely make the choice for me for Logitech.

$160 for Logitech's QA issues ain't gonna cut it. An open-box promo is how I got a real Magic Keyboard Folio for just $90, and so far it's absolutely been worth it.

My Logitech Combo Touch wasn’t difficult to insert my iPad 10 into.

It was more difficult to take it out of the case.

I only wish I could flip the keyboard completely back. But I just disconnect the keyboard.

Just got my Combo Touch and am surprised. The material design has changed from the fabric style to a smoother finer grained texture. Fits tight but properly. Should their app do anything other than firmware updates? I can't find anything. like the backlight.

The only thing that has me tempted to go with the apple keyboard is the trackpad. I hate diving board styled trackpads, but the Logitech seems better in every other way so im gonna have to go with that one
