Having read the Darth Plagueis novel several times, this seems like a viable possibility for an alternate storyline. How Dooku, Qui Gonn and Palpatine come together and work as a unit is quite rewarding. What if the Nightsisters Killed General Grievous during the Clone Wars

This would give Mother Talzin enough time to also kill Count Dooku, MASSIVELY throwing off Palpatine’s plans

I could imagine Palpatine being suspected to be the Chosen One and he would believe it. Once Anakin is found and labelled the Chosen One, Palpatine's pride would push him to the Dark Side.
