10 Ways to Deal with Difficult People

Difficult people are everywhere. In fact, we are one of them. Learning to avoid them is impossible but how to deal with them, now that's what this video is about.

10 ways to deal with difficult people

1. Jesus prayed beforehand.
2. Jesus caused others to marvel because of His silence.
3. Jesus took the beating.
4. Jesus poured out His heart to the Father.
5. Jesus forgave before they apologized.
6. Jesus responded to the Father; He did not react to the people.
7. Jesus ministered while suffering.
8. Jesus received ministry from others.
9. Jesus didn’t associate with the Pharisees after His resurrection.
10. Jesus rose again, so will you.

Finally, two questions I try to ponder on to give me balance in dealing with difficult people.
Am I causing the Lord the same pain in some area of my life as this person is causing me right now?
It may be true that I have a difficult person to deal with, but am I a difficult person to somebody else as well?

Dear Pastor, this is one thing l do with people without making any noise about it. I give the whole issue to GOD, l forgive them, l release them, l give GOD the payback and then l bless them in Jesus name. The issue is no longer mine to deal with. lm free from this issue and feel at peace. If im still struggling with this person then l re pray this again and again. Usually after the 3rd time no problem.

Hey Pastor V, as a medical professional, i must tell you;
from the simplest analogy you use, up to the medical understanding of the immune system (which may be basic but absolutely correct unlike some doctors) you have a blessing of getting through to people and teaching them. Don’t ever stop ! You are in a right track and I learn from what you teach. Just got home from the skating rink and a tough guy hit me hard....my legs went flying in air I fell on back more than bottom...I fell hard struggling to breathe ....literally crawling on knees to get off the rink while others skates whizzing by me...the guy didn’t even stop or check or anything ....two girls came up to me later and told me that guy is known for being that way....I tracked him down at the concession stand and I hollered over the music in background more than necessary hollering “in the name of Jesus I forgive you!” and I asked him twice if he believed in Jesus Christ he said yes and I told him to be more careful...skating away ...and getting home that night something didn’t feel right like hmmm how do we deal with difficult ppl and boo yah I should kept quiet I should pray for him...this is a confirmation I’ve been in my reading plan and I too noticed Jesus was quiet and it amazed Pilate....I may have asked right things mentioning Jesus but how I went about it confrontational not right Lord I repent. I repent...thank you for your ministry Sir.

Beautiful teaching... For Believers who discern spirits, it is all too easy to misreact, speak too quickly etc. to difficult people. Longsuffering is often the fruit produced by discerners of spirits who walk, submitted to God's Will.

Thank you. I need this encouragement. I have a strong tendency to fall into apathy which then affects all areas of my life, including small basic things that need to be done. Or would make life better if they were done.

I’ve learnt that I don’t have to always defend myself because God knows the truth and He will defend me the moment I start forgiving them and not react I later see how God deals with them and turns it around for my good and He deals with people better then you even could. The most humbling thing a person can do is sow in peace even if you were not in the wrong and that’s a true reflection of what Jesus did on the cross 🔥🙏🏽

Whenever I go through trials and testing times, I always refere to the book of Job. There's a lot to earn from that scripture. Job went through extreme suffering but in the end he came out triumphant

And the reason why I decided not to go church anymore but worship and seek God from home. Also resigned from work. Try to heal and look after myself. This is really blessing me. I have gone threw this with another person in my Bible study, I never responded to her many times, the last time I walked away from the Bible study and I finially walked away from that church. I have been being silent and not responding to another person who is toxic in my life. I instantly forgave these people, and I have asked for forgiveness for what ever I have done to them, more than once and when satan try to bring it back up to me, I forgive them and lay it at the feet of Jesus. Dear pastor Vlad,
Thank you so much for this message. This was so for me, I been hurt and betrayed by church people so much, by my husband’s sisters and I feel like I’m all alone in this battle. I did make a decision long time to forgive but these people keep pushing me to be friends with me and I don’t want to be friends with them. So they keep putting guilt on me and using this against me that I stay away from them. Please pray for me I really need a support because I feel very discouraged and those things they were said to me they keep coming up in my head what horrible person and sister-in-law I am. I have been in a very emotionally abusive marriage for 25 years. My eyes were opened in Dec 2020 of what I have been going through. Since then, I have learned alot. Some call it the gray rock method, but it is the same as not responding or saying very little. It has definitely helped in me having peace.
