I've been following your low-carb, high-fat, mod protein diet for years, DB. And I've been doing 16:8 - 20:4 IFing for years, too. Nice to hear about the one-two punch. Looks good and feels good on this 54-year-old bod. AND it helps me bounce right back up from my all-too-many falls -- usually. Thanks for keeping us up on it all!

This concept is so simple in its wisdom, so important to know / practice, and yet seemingly not common knowledge? Hmm? Don't allow the money hungry FOOD / DRUG companies advertise your good health and quality of life away with eye candy packaging and cool slogans. I thought I had a healthy diet eating lots of fruit, when I found your chanel I immediately download your low carb list. Thank you Dr. Becky I been doing IF and LC and the weight keeps coming off. I still allow myself to have a high carb and my choice is baked yams once in a while. God bless you always!

I often wonder about fasting while on VLC or Keto diets. Most of the timing info appears to presume that your liver glycogen is full, that you have excess sugar in the blood, and that you need to fast for a while before you begin to be in ketosis. I'd like to see some studies of fasting while in a fasting mimicking state.

Can you do a program on ‘zero net carb’ products such as bread? Aldi’s provides a bread that has zero net carbs, but the rest of it’s nutritional stats concern me too. If you would like to see the Nutrition Panel from this specific product. I can send you a photo for reference. Thanks.

Hello Dr Becky, I'm just currently using this method LCIF. My question is when I eat fats and protein and Low carbs do I need also to count my calories? I eat almond bread, cookies and etc using almond and coconut flour I bake myself. Can I eat anything as long as it's a low carb? Or do I need also to count my calories? I'm trying to lose weight. Thanks.
