Today we will CRUSH a workout that focuses on our legs and muscular strength as a main goal! We will rock 13 exercises for 3 rounds of 40 seconds of work with 20 seconds rest. I used my 15, 20, 25, 30, and 40 pound dumbbells today so grab some weights that are in your heavy range and let's crush it!

In this workout you are training with me, Sydney Cummings, owner of Royal Change and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I am a fitness trainer is Charlotte, North Carolina and was a Division 1 athlete at West Virginia University where I was a national qualifying high jumper. After 9 months of telling myself “Carolina: your legs are not designed to do split squads”, today I finally pulled a bench in and did the whole super set just as Sydney said. From now on call me Super Carolina!

Okay, well I wasn't expecting Sydney to have me ugly crying during the cool down at 6am. Today's pep talk hit me like a brick wall. 'Think back to the last time you were truly happy and figure out how to get back there.' Cue me sobbing on a sweat-soaked mat in my living room.

it's one of those days when starting is exceptionally hard!! started for 5 minutes and felt like i couldn't go on. took a cup of hot chocolate, did a bit of pep talk, adjusted my mindset and went back to the routine. BIGGEST CRUSH of my journey with Sydney battling moodswings, monthly hormonal f**kups and fatigue!!! very very proud of myself and hope you do too!!! xx

The number of times I said “WTF Sydney!” is too damn high! Was shaking and was on the verge of tears by the end of it. I’m glad the split squads were programmed to be in the beginning of the workout. I couldn’t have done it if it was at the end.

Yes crushed it despite not having any power in my home. Shout to all the Texans still getting the workout done even though millions of us don’t have power. Hopefully ERCOT gives us our power back soon. 🙏🏾. Thanks Sydney for the constant motivation.

My happy time was before my husband died. I have no idea how to get back to that kind of happy after being married 30 yrs. Most days are just going through the routine motions. I love having your workouts and pep talks. They are my motivation to keep moving forward. 🙂
