It is a shame that so many men view any enquiry about their job as a sign of the woman seeking to estimate their wealth. I have enough male friends that see it this way that I am now reluctant to enquire. Yet, it is something i am genuinely interested in. I believe that certain occupations provide additional info about the man and the type of lifestyle he prefers. And shared preferred lifestyle is important to me.

Corporate banker, farmer, teacher, armed forces and surgeon are likely to have quite different lifestyles.

Fifty years ago i believed that for "the right man" i would live anywhere. After a lifetime of experience i know that certain lifestyles suit me better than others. I've had fascinating discussions about a man's job in the past. Learnt all sorts of interesting things. But nowadays I'm too scared to ask! 😊
