Hi Dr Mindy
I've nursed 46 years and was always taught to use steroids for my psoriasis. ...until I took matters into my own hands after my father died, as I was covered head to toe in psoriasis, so I started omad ..then increased to 20 hr fasts, just on water and black coffee. I took photos before and after. . It took 3 months in total, I had cheat days but the results were miraculous, ! My psoriasis was completely HEALED ! 😊 Now I tell my patients stay off steroids and let food be thy medicine. ..and medicine be thy food ☺💕

I’m a relatively healthy 55 year old woman and I’m fit, not overweight.
The first time I did 72 hr water fasting was a month ago. I did it specifically to fix a few body injures I had:
both shoulders, both elbows and a little of pain in my knees. My body decided to heal all my right side, shoulder, elbow and knee. So this past week I did another 72 sardines fasting to heal the other side. Oh my God! It didn’t disappoint me! I feel like brand new today! I only feel like 5% of discomfort in one of elbows but 95% of all other issues are gone! I have to do this again to treat other possible conditions that I may have and don’t know of. Thank you Dr. Mindy. And just to let you know I bought you book in both formats, virtual and hard copy.
Again thank you for the work you do.

I decided to fight MS 3 months ago. I only started intermittent fasting about a month ago. I decided to go ketovore but still low carb. No sugar, no wheat, no processed foods as much as possible. 20 years ago DRs never said I could do anything. Now I'm doing something. I also rely on my faith, and know no matter what, He is enough for me.

Since I found you I’ve been watching your videos and I’ve learned so much. I wish I found you sooner. I’m still not losing weight 😂

It all started because I have psoriasis, vitiligo, and vertigo. I was researching psoriasis and started to realize that this is a gut/ auto immune issue. I was surprised the dermatologist did not mention this 😢.
I bought your book and trying so hard. At first, I bought so many vitamins for the gut which I am taking. I just started your auto immune reset…fasting is not a problem for me. Usually, I just watch your videos and don’t comment. so many things I’ve been doing wrong and I have a success story, I did lose 73 pounds on Weight Watchers about 16 years ago, but recently started gaining weight Of course I’m 40 now. 😮
I’m looking forwarded to getting myself back together. I am falling apart. Love your motivation and how passionate you are when you talk about all this. Wish me luck!

Hi Dr Mindy. Appreciate these videos! I am 35, have RA and lupus and am on meds but really suffer from 7/10 pain on a daily basis.

I am currently 92 hours into my fast. 2nd time I'm doing this (first time was 89 hours) and both times my inflammation has subsided so much that I was able to walk comfortably and almost pain free! Going this time to 5 days if I can push it as I just feel absolutely amazing. Your videos and passion has kept me pushing through it knowing I'm doing good to my body.

God has also led me through this every step and your knowledge has helped so much! Thank you so much.. I'll keep at a fasting lifestyle if I can feel like this more often!

I've got my psoriasis when I was working in shifts. And my neighbours did not let me sleep because the lived during the times that I needed to sleep. So the sleep deprevation did lead to a poor live style. Ordering food instead of making and smoking. Now I am sick at home with also fibromyalgia doing baby steps to work again. But my company doctors say that should do shifts again. I know this is going to make me more sick again. So I am trying to find other work. And trying everything to heal me. I order the book fast like a gir. But it is taking a long time to come to my local book store here in the Netherlands. So I am making already small changes in my eating times. So thank you for al your free content.

Thank you for your videos. I started fasting in November. I am a 62 year old type 2 who has gone from 300-400 units of insulin per day, to none, I haven't injected since Jan. I just transitioned from obese to overweight and am making good progress. I am starting to see issues go away, but the neuropathy in my toes seems to be more painful (but that may go with the cold hands and feet from fasting). My approach is long term fasting, breaking it every week or two with a small Sunday dinner of meat and broccoli. I plan to keep doing that until I hit my next milestone (200 pound milestone, currently down from 251 to 217). Once I reach that, I'll experiment with intermittent schedules that keep me losing and allow me to continue the path toward fat adaptation. You can't believe how much you are influencing my repairs.

I'm a fan from wayyyy back. OMAD faster for the last couple of years. I have had an autoimmune issue pop up in my life in the last year and am working on these 3 strategies you talk about Dr. Mindy... it's interesting to me that the body will show you what it needs to heal itself inspite of yourself. You may get hit by a pebble or even a brick... but your body is not lying to you. I am so grateful that so many of the things that help like clean eating, a fasting lifestyle and understanding the priciples has helped me move forward with addressing my new issue. I'm not in denial or "frozen" by the prospect of an illness that the sickcare sytem wants to label chronic and lifelong. I am challenged and empowered. Sure, I have crappy days but I am not defeated. Hugs to you and your team.

Thank you Dr Mindy for this video. I have Hashimoto's and have been trying to find the best fasting protocol to apply for many years now.. I love your new book, and learned a lot, even tho I've been on a fasting journey for quite awhile now. I just got back to carnivore this week, so this presentation is very timely. I have always struggled with 24 hour fasting, but am really going to try applying it more often. I appreciate the specifics in what you shared in this video and feel inspired with these suggestions for my regular fasting routine. I am always interested in hearing more about thyroid and healing for autoimmune, it's good to find encouragement for holistic healing.

Hi Dr. Mindy Pelz. I just want to say that one day I was reading what this lady had commented on a web page in the comments section and it got my attention.
She said that a few years ago that she had gotten really sick and she was not able to eat for nine days. She said she had Hashimoto's. She also just happened to have an appointment already set up for her lab work. When she went to her doctor's appointment, she found out that her TPO antibodies went way down. They discussed what happened and figured out that it was from her not eating for nine days. Basically fasting. The doctor was shocked. He told her to do that again in six months and do another fast for five days. She did. Her Hashimoto's was in remission. It was so much so that she said it had been three years and it still didn't come back. It sounds like she didn't change her diet but had fasted with water only.

Dr. Mindy, Thank you for this information. I was diagnosed with RA at the age of 50. I am now 68 and have been taking Humira and methotrexate all of these years. I am pain free but worry about what these medications are doing to my body. I am going to try the protocol. Even though I am asymptomatic, the disease is still within me. I can expect to have a shortened life expectancy since RA attacks organs as well as joints. Anything I can do to improve my outcome is a priority.

Thank you Dr. Pelz🤍 I’m a 53 year old woman in menopause for 5 years with Hashi, osteoarthritis and Mysthenia Gravis. So I know what you mean when you said autoimmune diseases come in clusters. I’m tired of feeling this way and want to implement your way of health. So excited to hear this video because we all need that hope. ☺️

Makes me wonder if there’s been an increase of auto immune/toxic load with the increase number of women that have breast implants. I just had my 41 year-old, ruptured implants taken out a few months ago and I’m working like crazy to detox my body. Dr. Mindy and Dr. Boz’s fasting protocols are fascinating and I’ve incorporated them into my healing.

Hi Dr. MIndy. I follow a Keto lifestyle since October of 2020. Lost 70 pounds over the next year and a half. I took breaks and tried to just hold my weight when I got to certain milestones. Now a healthy BMI of 22 at 65 years old Thinner than my freshman year of high school. However, in June of 2021 I started having uncontrollable diarrhea for days. Saw a gastroenterologist and after many tests and colonoscopy with biopsy, was diagnosed with IBD, specifically collagenous colitis. I was put on a medication called cholestyramine, which works by binding up bile acid. About 9 months ago I saw one of your videos about a gut reset fast (24 hours or OMAD) and I have been doing OMAD once a week. I am already at my goal weight, so I am just doing this for the health benefit. Since my cholestyramine is dosed as needed, about 5 to 6 months ago I stopped taking it to see what would happen. I have had no episodes since I have been doing OMAD once a week so I can confirm this works for me!! I still get a little bit urgent if I eat a large salad on an empty stomach, but it is nothing like it used to be. I find small amounts of veggies are very doable, especially if they are not breaking my fast. Somehow or other, lettuce seems to be one of the worst ones for my digestion. Thanks for all your fasting advice.
