Lol he doesn't know what he is taking about. VW can meet the emissions levels, that is why not all diesel models are affected. The 2.0 TDI engine is generally used in cheaper cars and in order to stay competitive VW had to cheat.
Also is funny how Americans think their huge trucks which burn 2-3 times more fuel than a 2.0 TDI Jetta are more eco friendly.

The 3 things are 1 no CEO or Director with be jailed, they might even get a bonus for being caught like the bankers. 2 The ordinary workers on the shop floor will suffer through job losses. 3. the car buyers wont be compensated for the extra tax they will have too pay.

Love VW. Will always stick by them regardless of the "scandal". They make some of the best cars out there.

I've always thought that all diesels are atrocious when it comes to "pollution".

SO the 2012 - 2013Passat didn't have the defeat switch? How did those model years pass the inspection tests?

480 k produce 10-40x the legal limit of NOx. It has recognition software that produces legal levels when being tested by inspectors.

Any diesel using the additive in the exhaust ie ad blue etc....is probably OK. I always wondered how VWs got away without using the additive.

Surely saying VW (VeeDoubleYou) is just as long and time consuming as saying Volkswagen, what's the point of spelling out the acronym? lol

Most other vehicles are still polluting in every country especially America. Think of Muscle cars with no catalytic converters and 2 stroke engines 🤨🤨🤨

I was so upset that I bought shares. Jk. Scandals like this can offer opportunity to make some gains.

lol this "scandal's" laugh-able. There's more gasoline power cars out there pumping far more emissions out then the 2009-2015 TDI vw's yet no ones raising a stink about them.
Then you get companys like GM who know there's faulty components in they're products which actually kill/maim how many people each year yet no one thinks twice about it. Then GM go's "well what ever fine we'll fix it then" after things are brought into the light, yet no ones freaking out about the SERIOUS negligence of they're actions.

1:55 "what am I suppose to do" Drive the car thru the dealership wall its just a matter of time before they change the laws for testing to get these sacks of shit off the road. It cost the dealership $10, 000 per unit on average so whatever you paid for your new car it was to much.

Solving environment pollution by building more cleaner cars is like solving obesity by making more plus sized pants.

When you know diesel is less environment friendly than gasoline, why still buy a diesel engine car?

It's like u want a big mac, but i want it low fat. And perhaps a diet coke. Muricaaa~~~
