Hurricane Helene is now rapidly intensifying and is on track to becoming a dangerous Category 3+ hurricane. The storm's massive size and future intensity will lead to devastating impacts for Florida southern Georgia. It is forecast to become at least a Category 3 hurricane before slamming into Florida's Big Bend area on Thursday evening. It is still possible for it to reach Category 4 or 5 before landfall.
