This is heartbreaking. It really has me in tears because you can feel his devastation but followed up by her love and empathy.

Things can be replaced. People can not. So glad you are okay. Please, thank God that you are.

The way she comforted him. She knows THEM being ok is most important.

The power of that water is heart stopping. Their voices really told the story of grief and hope, as well.

Thank you for this video. I hear the shock in your voices. Those of us who live outside of the shock waves can't imagine the destruction. We need to see it. Prayers for your safety and recovery.

I love that instead of screaming hysterically she just stays calm and keeps him calm definitely a keeper

It's so sweet how she comforts him, and how he is so concerned about her parents and if anybody is in the gym. What a beautiful couple.

Thank goodness you all are OK. an amazing and informative video. This should tell people the power of water and storms. Too many don't see this even on video to realize the devastation. Again, glad you and your wife are OK. That's the most important thing.

Redefining "Okay". This is truly a cup half full kind of person. Glad you're they're okay. (For real) We all need that one person who tells us it's okay even when it feels like our world is falling apart.

Wow!! The calmness in this woman’s voice. What a beautiful couple who sounds so at peace with God and so confident that in the end everything will work out. I am so sorry for those in these areas who are suffering so much loss

So glad you are okay. It's terrifying enough for us who are watching these images on the news and feeling helpless that we can only watch, send help as we are able, and hope for your safety. Our neighbourhood experienced an EF2 tornado that ripped through and destroyed homes, trees, hydro systems, etc. We had never experienced anything like this and always thought it couldn't happen here in Ottawa, not like this. Then we get 6 in one storm. Then a few years after that, a Derecho. . It takes years to recover from these things and that's the damage to nature, the animals, the physical, emotional, and financial losses. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones.

I’m in Charlotte… we are getting supplies together and several are taking trips up to the mountains to deliver what we can. I plan to use volunteer hours to help with cleanup and rebuild as soon as being there is needed and not a burden. North Carolinians are here for you ❤

Poor people, her confident reassurance that we are ok when he was worrying about the car is a joy to hear. Such a strong and focussed lady. Hope they recover quickly from this event.
