A good use for the flowers on the top of the basil plant is to make tea. Lots of good healthy benefits to basil tea flowers, and it tastes good.

How far back do I harvest, though? I have like a few at the bottom and at the top, do I just c ut all the way back?

This may be a stupid question. For the bigger leaves, can you just pinch those off that use them instead of the smaller ones?

I planted basil this year (no idea why but I did - I don’t use it). Question: it looks like new basil plants are growing below the one in the pot. Same leaves. Is that from seeds dropping? I don’t know much about basil but it seems to spread easily?

Tried growing from seed. Don't work for me. Too cold in north UK, which is sad. I love Basil and there are so many different types. You can even get lemon tasting leaves
