I just started growing stuff this year by myself after believing for years that I had a brown thumb! I have mint, basil, thyme (3rd year), rosemary, and chives. And I am enjoying every minute of it 😁 Thanks for the pruning tips.

Great video, you’d be surprised how many there are where they don’t show you a close up of what they’ve done. Very informative also, keep up the great work.

That’s it! I’m ripping out my herb garden and paving it over. Lol your herbs are beautiful and no burnt tips. The quality organics are evident.👍🏻

This was great! I have two big post of mint --spearmint and peppermint. And lemon balm. We also really, really, love basil--I think it's my husband's favorite herb. So it's good to know how to grow a lot of it.

The best way I found to increase volume of herbs is to buy reseeders. Do lots of cuttings and place them in a sunny window. I'm herb rich yall!

This information came at the perfect time for me. This is the first year I have grown sage and mint. It is getting pretty big and I knew it was time for harvest but I wasn't sure how to do it. This is also my first year for chives and lemongrass and I'm not sure how to harvest it either. I'm going to have to do some research.

I didn't know to prune my basil. I'll be getting a lot more of it now! Thanks!

If you have more space I would highly recommend giving your herbs bigger pots (or divide the plant(s) into different pots) and more light.

Thanks Melissa, I was actually getting really leggy basil, I didn’t realize it needed to be pruned this way!

Thanks for the video! Do you ever prune/trim for use from the larger bottom leaves (even just for size control)? Or do you need to stay away from removing lower, mature growth?
