You see the reason why we in America are pissed because of taxes? Because we get taxed, nothing ever gets done. But taxes in a country like Norway, they actually go to things to make life for the citizen better. This is one of many reasons I am moving to Norway when I am done here in the States.

There's a reason why Norway is a great, very happy country with lots of services.

And they don't have people living on the streets while full of drugs every where and they don't have to sell their homes when really sick like the USA because of those taxes.

Dude, 33% is effin good, here in Italy an employee with average salary pays 38% in taxes, if you're self-employed and you earn a lot it can go up to more than 50% total taxes, and every Italian wonders where these money are going to, infrastuctures are worse and worse.

To clarify more on taxes, in the US, 100k would be taxed 24% to 31% depending on state. Which compared to Norway, it seems they get the bang for their buck, but what is not said in the video is sales tax, which is 25% in Norway, while in the US, it's varied between 0% to 9%.

This dude does not knoe what he is talking about… Norwegian here. The tax woul be almost half. And after that you pay 20-25% tax on most products. So 1/5 to 1/4 of «net income» goes to tax. As long as the government is spensing the money right (as they don’t anymore) most are (were) okay with this. We got (had) great community services. (Many are still very good, but potential is ignored now)

Big deal. My combined State of California, Federal Income Tax, Railroad Retirement Tier 1 and 2, Employee Healthcare plan and union dues equate to 33% annual.

Only the people of Norway knows this is wrong. Tax is way higher than those mentions.

After state, local, and federal taxes, we pay more in Washington state-and then add our insurance premiums and it’s even more.

And when you retire the state will actually take care of you during retirement.

But seriously do more research on taxes in norway, like heritage tax, property tax, road tax, heck you gotta pay tax just for being alive in norway

That's a reasonable rate. You get all your insurance included in this, a working administration, loads of high quality infrastructure, etc.

We paid 13% California state taxes and 30% federal. This haven’t included other type of taxes such as social security. The net taxes is like 45% and we get zero type of service…call 911 and is being put on hold.

Well about 900 000 poor people in norway too. So not everyone are happy in Norway. Hard to find Work also. But if you have good education and have some work experience and learn Norwegian language in Norway. You can have a good life in Norway if you live in big cities around in Norway.
