41.25%😂😂😂
In your dreams my friend…
We pay between 67% and 80% of taxes…you have mentioned only 2 types of taxes.
Don’t forget also that self employers every year have to pay in advance the taxes of the next year and if they earn much than they have predicted they pay again… you are talking about employees, but labour taxes are paid by employers

You have to subtract taxes from your income? I lived in Italy for 20 years and nobody told me.

I mean, unhappy, how, if they have so much sun and stuff, income tax, high, yes, but we have almost same - 31% and we do not have a free healthcare and weather is a quite trash(sun is rare) and like we pay tax but they do nothing for the country, like 0. Italy prob same thing as I have visited previous years but only North part but like at least they have a WAY better weather than us seems like weather is not making people more happier for me happiness is in the weather if I would have a 10 degree winter all-around and a mountains to go when I want a snow I would be not only happy I would not care about my income and everything else, I appreciate weather by a lot, I mean a lot, yes being a North-East european is just different

Cost of living is much less than the U.S though, so it would still last you much longer

Same in a lot of countries … then you pay goods tax or value added tax when buying stuff … in the uk, for example, that’s another 20%. And in the case of fuel, that’s paid after fuel taxes of around 60%!
