I went to a dentist a few weeks ago to get my teeth cleaned and to remove cavities since i havent went to a dentist for like 4 years. After cleaning my teeth and stuff my mom told the dentist that i wanted to use baking soda to whiten my teeth. The dentist told me that its okay to use baking soda but just twice a week.

Peroxide and baking soda works best. Instead of mixing it with water, add the hydrogen peroxide and brush gently.

Well it worked for me really well and after use the baking soda make sure you wash your mouth with hot water

Tips so you don’t end up with cavity’s
1. Make sure that the mixture of whatever and baking sosta if fully dissolved
2. One do it one or twice a month
3. Gently brush when using them
4. Go in a circular motion
5. Don’t spend too much time on one area
6. Mix toothpaste a lil bit of water and baking dots for best result

ok yes baking soda is good for whitening teeth but only use it twice a week because its very abrasive and will make your teeth very sensitive so NO MORE than twice a week

I tried this with toothpaste
My gums went red and extremely swollen, so did my lips and it only went down after two days

Ive heard of baking soda+ lemon juice. Worked amazingly but not sure if it's ok to use, I think my rentist told me once it softens the enamel and makes your teeth more sensitive..

The baking soda on toothpaste is what my mama taught us from the first time till now. Its the only way I've ever known

Baking soda is only 7 on the RDA scale out of 200, so how is it considered abrasive?

Is this really an orthodontist bc backing soda whitens your teeth by ripping of your enamel. So I really recommend using crest whitening strips.or just brush your teeth ever day for a month and see the difference 👀

Ok so i just did it and i used warm water and i kinda see it but i think if u did it daily it would work the onky problem is it would work bc the baking soda eats at the enamle whike ur brushing so ur teeth will get very sensitive over time

Baking soda didn't whiten my teeth at all. I hope adding peroxide will help.
