Turmeric is trending right now as a “natural” teeth whitener?!?!?!

No! Turmeric is not a teeth whitener lol it’s a spice and also an ingredient used to dye fabric orange 🤯

According to the American Dental Association: “There is no reliable scientific evidence to show that turmeric whitens teeth.”

So I did some detective work to find out where this trend originated! Curious? Watch my debunking video:

I do turmeric and salt water gargles 3 days a week. It's an Ayurvedic therapy for keeping gums free from germs. ( not for whitening) I rinse mouth with clean water after turmeric-salt gargles.

Guys use miswak (branch/root) like neem or traditional persica. Trust me i went to saudi and the guys there have the whitest teeth and yes they carry miswak stick and use it throughou the day.

When you're Indian and use turmeric to give a curry some color because it turns things yellow and you don't have have guts to use it on your teeth because whenever you touch it, it stains your hands💀
