2 late for me unfortunately. One of my 2TB EHD might have bad sectors after a messy restart I did the other day. I've been trying to access the files in it ever since and it makes any software trying to access it go unresponsive until I unplug the drive. It even crashes the Safely Remove widget in the taskbar Dropup arrow on Windows 10. Incredibly regretful rn.

I have the same brand, same model, and even same color, but I do have 4TB. it has having same issue. Loading was slow so I transfer the data immediately. I dunno if I should buy again with the same brand

If you are looking for long term reliability is Toshiba Canvio the best?. I've had 6 of them and they never failed. The problem I have is they advertise 4tb of storage but you only get 3.6tb
